HBU Holds a Roundtable Meeting on the High-Quality Development of Colleges and Universities Jointly Constructed by the Ministry and Province

On the afternoon of October 17th, a series of celebration activities of the 100th Anniversary of HBU-a roundtable meeting on the high-quality development of universities jointly constructed by Ministry and Province was held in the library of HBU.

The meeting was organized around the new concept and new actions of the new development stage of the joint construction of colleges and universities between Ministry and Province. It was divided into two stages. The theme of the first stage is the new requirements for higher education in the new development stage. The theme of the second stage is the new achievement of the high-quality development of colleges and universities jointly constructed by the ministries and provinces. Representatives from the cooperative university Beijing Normal University and 11 universities jointly constructed by Ministry and Province made speeches and exchanges at the meeting.

It is understood that it is a major reform and innovation of China’s higher education management system and mechanism, and a major institutional exploration to promote the modernization of the education governance system and governance capabilities. In 2018, HBU was selected as a university jointly constructed by the Ministry and Province, becoming one of the 14 universities jointly constructed by the Ministry and Province across the country, marking that HBU has entered a new stage of high-quality development and has become a new milestone in HBU’S development history.
