HBU Held the Preparatory Meeting of Regional Competitions in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei of the 4th “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao” Yo

On May 25, the preparatory meeting of regional competitions in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei of the 4th “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao” Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in WUSI Road Campus. Ni Zhiyu, Standing Committee member of the Party Committee and vice president of HBU. Ni Zhiyu introduced the practices and achievements of HBU in related areas. She pointed out that the "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao" Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has been included in the university's opening project in 2021 and is one of the activities of the centennial anniversary. Our university will insist on the principle of “deploying from a high starting point, advancing with a high standard, implementing in an efficient way.” Based on the reform of innovation &entrepreneurship education in China, we will take the hosting of this competition as an opportunity to strengthen the exchange and cooperation with the members of the Innovation &Entrepreneurship Education Alliance of China. Through this competition, we can also build a cooperation platform for the collaborative education between government, universities and enterprises and the integrating innovation of production, teaching and research. Liu Pei expressed his gratitude to our university for hosting the competition in his speech and said that the Alliance would fully support Hebei University to host the competition and offer a present to mark the centennial anniversary of HBU. The participants agreed to this plan of hosting competition and put forward suggestions for improvement.

Launched by the Innovation &entrepreneurship Education Alliance of China,“Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao” Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition takes “Creating an enjoyable city” as the theme and takes scientific and technological innovation, management innovation, policy innovation and other aspects as the breakthrough point. It aims to promote the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in China and explore the mode of cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial talents. It aims to build a platform for the mutual exchanges between teachers and students in universities and young people of innovation and entrepreneurship in society, and establish a cooperation platform for young people from the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao to start their own business. The competition will serve the regional economies of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao and the development of future cities.
